(love…looove me, do….you know I love you…)
Room 102, Spinning in a frenzy of copy editing and
Over- caffeinated journalists singing along,
Shouting font sizes and other last minute changes,
Left over pizza boxes being interviewed
By Ants, in the backroom.
As chaos evokes acrimonious affairs,
We look for comfort in the four
Bean Bag chairs and fellow huggaholics.
“Don’t do that Jimmy” the computer retorts,
In Ms. Neal’s voice.
We Errupt in giggles and innuendic remarks as we work,
Always moving, laughing, buzzing with communication.
Frantic stress, yet we pull it off,
The whistle is blown.
Group hugs, soft kiss on the forehead,
‘cus there’s nothing like home-away-from-home.

Whew! sounds like a great workplace, especially the rapport and temporary insanity of meeting deadlines, and so well captured in this wonderful poem.

Now that's what I'm talking about. Well, I wasn't really. But if I had been talking about anything like that, it would have been that. So... yeah....It does sound like fun.
Take care.
