ONE DAY I will awaken

Engulfed in my arms

The two of us together

How often have we dreamed
that this would come about
The thought, there in our minds
each day, without a doubt

I feel it in your words
your passion and desire
Creating, within my body
a never ending fire

This fire rages on
as each day passes by
ONE DAY it will happen
and we, will never say goodbye

ONE DAY I will awaken
and find you there with me

Reading this piece made me feel all warm and mushy inside- a feeling I dont often get and I hat you for doing that to me! ( not really ).

This is very good. Usually poems remind me of songs but your reminds me of a movie; the movie "Ladyhawke" is a great movie listen to some of the dialogue and you will see some similarities to the poem you have written.
