picture a soul captured, and locked down.
with the key nowhere to be found.
picture an ocean with no water.
with the drain nowhere to be found.
picture a smile with no emotion.
with happiness nowhere to be found.

picture a tear with no meaning.
with reason nowhere to be found.
picture a voice with no sound.
with vocal chords nowhere to be found.
picture a face with no eyes.
with vision nowhere to be found.

picture something beautiful.
with shades of brilliant blue.
picture something tragic.
with shades of brilliant black.
picture something happy.
with shades of dull yellow.

picture a nest.
with the mother nowhere to be found.
picture a love.
with the inspiration nowhere to be found.
picture a heart.
with the syncronation nowhere to be found.

picture isolation.
with positive vibes nowhere to be found.
picture a hole.
with the exit nowhere to be found.
picture a life.
with purpose nowhere to be found.
