would all be proud of this design
And i would too if it were mine
So why must they wear it for war?

Khaki, brown-tans fawn and taupe
Donned by the warriors of modern hope
but what about the mothers who are trying to cope?
As tears drown the glory of war

The perfect secretion in the veil of the trees
As fear sucks the air from a bitter foriegn breeze
A bullet in the heart brings the man to his knees
The victim of another man's war

the colours are alive but the sodier's dead
added to the cluster is a grim shade of red
In the shadows of the billet there lies an empty bed
Now another will be sent to war.

they camouflage the battledress
they camouflage the tanks

they camouflage the infantry
they camouflage the ranks

they camouflage the aeroplanes
they camouflage the tents

But most of all they camouflage
The reason they were sent.
