All the deceit has fled my body and mind
The toxins flowed through my veins every night
For there was no day, only night

Now I stand with the sun’s caress on my face
No dread of the others on my mind
No toxins in my body to corrupt my soul
Freedom is what I have, in this eternal sunshine

A wonderfully written piece of poetry u have here. I love the way you've presented ur poem. It's like escaping the clutches of depression and to feel the sun's rays again is an absolutely awesome feeling. Well done.
Hugs,
Sue, Dreamer
