Can this be what he was waiting for?
He does not know the answers
For only time will tell
The moment he waits for is drawing near
Will he succeed?
Will he find happiness at last?
And will he be able to pull her from darkness?

Far from happy and feeling alone
Wanting one thing but getting the opposite
He sits pondering thoughts that come and go
Never truly grasping on to one
His search for love constantly failing
Heart being broken every other day
He sits hoping for love to find him

Will this end his lonely thoughts?
Can this be what he was waiting for?
He does not know the answers
For only time will tell
