my art is what's weeping
disease covers dead trees
to keep the paint sleeping

she's gone towards sunset
fade like tears small
tomorrow's just dry sweat
wait for rain's fall

the paint in me dries
i then milk my depression
my canvas, my grey eyes
reveal no confession

she left me the silence
to ponder despair
my heartache is violence
that shatters the air

i can't paint the pain
it's the ocean at night
would you taste the stain
if it brought the morn's light?

Nice. Very nice---especially those last 3 stanzas---wow! You have your own unique style, that's for sure Dwayne...keep it up!

Your words paint the picture. Beautifully written.
