Something I can’t hide
From myself
Deep inside
I don’t want to know
Two ways to go
But none are wanted
You were my life
The cause of all my pain
If today were yesterday
I might have said no
And turned my back
Before it even started
Once again
What was once
Is no more
Another chapter torn
And left on the table
For all of me to see
If I wasn’t me
Then who would I be
Someone who never knew
You

But what is this?
Something expected
A strange occurrence?
Of human nature
To love is to want
But to want is to ?
A stranger in the crowd
Friend of a friend
Makes me one
But only once
My secrete is
My own worst fear
I knew I would fall
But never too soon.
A smile flashed
A dull brush wiped away
Exploding
What you gonna do?
Sit here like I got stuck
Filling inside
Wanting

Great Write! Really deep in meaning and intricate in style.
I could really relate to the content and thought you set the scene really well. Its evident you put your feelings out on show for all to see, very genuine and solemn.
I look forward to reading more from you.

Dan
