How can I pay you back
For You don't need a thing from me but faith?

I knee and cry,
I pray and sing through tears of joy.
In hope my song will reach You.

I do my my best but still
My words are sand in desert:
So many yet too simple.

"My words are sand in desert:

These two lines are plain brilliant, I couldn't care much for the rest of it though.

Alex this is so beautifully written. Short, simple and heart touching. Well done.

I think it's supposed to say kneel isn't it? I like it though. And in my poem, I was writing meaning good as in perfect, see, a lot of ppl see me as "perfect" and I am by no means anything close to that. Without Christ, I could do Nothing good. Thanks for the comments!

Eloquent in its brevity, inspiring and well said!

The first line of the third stanza should be "I kneel and cry", I think (typo?).

I feel the last stanza often.
