i haven't noticed until now
her talons and evil brow
gone unnoticed until
she decides to let you see

what a beautiful world.
when wolves can deceive people
so easily without even lifting
a finger

irony is a form of humor.
so what can one do but laugh
when you can't sleep because
of the person you used to sleep
with?

what happens when love and hate collide
into a plethora of emotions that one can
not even decipher. what happens when you
can't let go? what happens
when the wolf is still beautiful?

what happens when you can't make it stop?
what happens when she leaves you to die
and you let it happen with a smile?
what does that make you?

the blood flows freely from the lips onto
your lap, and you notice it's your own
is it painful? is it funny?

what happens when you drop a melting ice cube
do you leave it as is because you understand
there is no use saving? Or do you try to cup
your hands and pick up the puddle in hopes
of a miracle. Wouldn't you look like a fool?

Don't I feel like a fool?
I'm carrying the bloody corpse home
hoping for a miracle.
Miracles might happen to ice cubes
Miracles don't happen to those
who love wolves. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 230 [topic] => 48 [informant] => mypetmeatball [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

I liked this a lot. The last few lines were wonderful.
