[bodytext] => I believe there is a God and I believe he had a son and he walked upon the face of the earth I believ that those he sought were looking for someone else and they were not able to see his love Caught up in traditions They lost their heart of love and followed rules by men God had to write new rules and change his convenant so that man could change I believ he chose 12 men and he taught them his new ways from the models that were given by the ancients Those religious did not like all the things he had to say they plotted a cunning way to kill him All was going according to scripture played out like an act within a play those who he came to help hung him on a cross one day They did it to keep their honour they did it in jealousy And here I stand to tell the same to you and that's what I believe --------------------------------------------------------------- Go on and take your pot shots tell me what you believe tell me of how wrong I am and how i can not see Tell me Jesus is a crutch only for the weak I can take your persecution and it proves that i can see I see men stealing and killing out of greed I see foolish argruments instead of conversations deep I have tried hard to say what i believe in peace But some have not been the same way there judgements never cease Go on and take your pot shots tell me how Jesus' a hoax thought up to take the people's money Tell me how you believe the world is supposed to be I'm giving you your chance now I really want to see Show me by your argruments how God's word is incomplete and I'll show you by my actions why I've come to believe Here is your chance to show who you are and what you believe Tell me why you think that the bible deceives ( I showed what I believe ) [comments] => 5 [counter] => 179 [topic] => 11 [informant] => Archie [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => ChristianPoetry )
