Is flawless but one defect
If one inch of him bows then his body shows its respect
It is not only what he allows, but more aptly, what he does reject
It will not be the fraud he fronts, but rather his true self he can protect
And incidentally, and not inconsequentially, he has been rung by the neck
And so the halo shines high on his head, but it is only his true nature that it does deflect

Paradoxical tension
To ease the fading friction
As the stick rubs fiercely against the stone
The flicker of a spark sends chilling reminders of a lost home

Out of the ashes
Into the conundrum we label a happy life
A repeated fable, and a young man grows old with his loving wife
As he rises in stature, and in accumulating success after success
Riding out the tides of failure, which bring back his haunted loneliness

So he takes comfort
In Mozart, Lennon and Copernicus
Dylan singing of shelter and warmth, and turning daylight into darkness
There is an itching in his bone to break these burning habits
To ache and settle, or just migrate and simply inhabit
When he picks that pencil up to write he feels as though it is his magic
And as the wood weasr thin, and the splinters hurt from within, the script turns tragic

Maybe the script just needs a good director : )

Well, I like this for the simple fact it stirs up lots of different emotions in me. Not all are good, but it's still an enjoyable read.
