He’s only a statue, of a man.

My friend a statue
His fixed stare, never turns, never blinks
A hollow body, filled with air
A single tap, he tells me why
His only secret
His only regret
He’s not really there
Understood, yet overlooked
An aged expression
Regardless of time
Something he’d know
If he were a man
His sadness is hidden
By an authors touch
Who realized, he’s perfect
I know how he feels

This is a good write. It is as though you are speaking for someone who can not speak for his or her self. You do a good job at it too. Great imagery
