[bodytext] => Ever noticed 'smoke screen' words like 'they', 'them' 'maybe' and words suffixed with 'some'. Notice how those words lend wonderful ambiguity to spoken/written sentences, it's as good as saying absolutely nothing at all. Below is the poem about introspection.

Who are they?

Another mystery:
Could it be solved?
Finding an answer
to who are they?

They are the villians
in every story.
They are to blame
for all the crying shame.
Oh yes, they are bad
stealing every smiles,
found in their way.

Answer could lie
in this question:
Could that they
be THEMself? [comments] => 10 [counter] => 172 [topic] => 25 [informant] => remote [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => MiscPoems )

They could be. Yep.

I like this, it's different. It's not the usual sort of thing I'd find on here, and I like that.

Nice thought.

Good write,
Phil xxx

Great write here. Gives one thought to ponder. Words can/are used as ambiguous expressions to hide behind for some.

Smiles,
Rita

A very honest write. I do that to usually for 2 reasons 1- I want to protect the people i'm writing about or, 2- I'm in a bad and selfish mood and I am for sure you are talking about the second one in my case.

now silly me ...
when i read your kind comment and encouragement to me ...

my first thought was, since i am a newbie,
that *by remote* was THEM, the ~Site Dungeon Masters~,
remotely sending me THEIR comment.

well, it did take me a while to realize THEY didnt post it,
but not until it was answered by the discovery of this poem
written by YOURself.

what a relief to learn youre not just a digital SOMEthing,
but a good poet with wit too!

Yes, you are right, giving poems a sense of abiguity and mistery make them all the more intruging. Details sometimes can ruin a poem, its best to let the mind and imagination wonder.....Well Done
