Because here they lay on this paper
But when I say them to you, it’s like these puny words are greater

I wish I could still tell you everything I felt
But that was the problem from the start, everything withheld
And I know it’s impossible to conceive the reasons
But I had to find a way to stop creating, start healing these lesions

I don’t expect you to forgive me, which hurts the worst
But just wish that you could understand why I’m so hurt
And maybe someday understand my explanations

For the first time I am truly speechless

Great poem, I loved the ending. The poem could tell so much in so little words. Thanks for letting me read your poem.
