I smell the soft and salty air and wander in my mind
A rock I see to sit upon, a seat within a stone
There is but myself here today, but I am not alone

The gentle waters kiss my feet, and once again recede
I feel a sweet contentment that fills an aching need
I close my eyes and picture you, it seems so long ago
But I can hear your gentle voice, within the tidal flow

If ever I am lonely and need to feel you near
I return again to find you, I know you're waiting here
Close my eyes and feel you caress and kiss my hand

This reminds me of that poem, you know the one. This seems to have a different meaning though, yet it is pleasant to read.

I absolutely love this. My heart skipped a beat as I felt the water at my feet and the smell of the ocean air.

Lovely write.

*hugs*

A sweet write about a place of connection. Interesting choice, as the beach face is physically a place of convergence of many forces.

I really really like this poem. It is awesome. I like footprints, they are cool. Actually, I just painted tiny ones on my wall last night.

This is very good (but you already knew that... )
Does the OTHER person know of it?
This is my favorite place to reflect as well, many memories and many pangs as well...
