Lovers' Fate

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

A lovers' fate of sad despair
When it comes to life, no one said it was fair
Frozen in time, orbiting the earth
Lost to death, painful rebirth
The clouds are grey, worn to faded
She wanders the streets, torn and jaded
The crows sorrowful song mimics her thoughts
Dark and secluded, the rain rusts and rots
An empty expression sits upon her face
Staring blankly into the deep void of space
The sun's cheery rays try to escape their grip
Deception and gloom win, she starts to slip
Falling fast and heavy into this black hole
A glimpse of relief, the few seconds she stole
A second of peace, then terror and fright
Everything's changing, day tunrs to night
Freezing rains, winds that burn
She tries not to give in, not to yearn
A pair of eyes remembered from a dream
The tears splash madly, a never-ending stream
The look on her face, a blacked out stare
A lovers' fate of sad despair
