You’ve got a heart that seems so heavy
You ride it hard like a big old Chevy
That power-block is running hard
Wide open without no guard

The seats are worn and the steering wheel tattered
Just like your heart that seems so battered
Your horn goes off when someone comes around
You dress her up and go off to town

A good car wax doesn’t ease the rain
Like your flaming heart that’s always in pain
Jack it up and look inside
Revealing the problems that you try to hide

Fill her up and change the oil
So her engine does start to boil
Maybe some day I’ll trade her in
But she’s such a beauty, that be a sin

I loved it. I love Chevy's and the way you compared cars to love, was great. There is a song by Tori Amos that this reminded me of. Nicely Done!

Enjoyed this, Jeff... It reminded me of a big old american car my dad had when we were very small. I loved that car so much and we never wanted him to get rid of it. I think I recall the name of that car being a 'Desoto'... Have you ever heard of it?
Nicely done...
Jenni

Cute I liked this because my hubby has a Chevy Nova 1972 that he had painted with flames on it so this caught my eye! Christina
