Dulling the ugliness that is stirring to play.
It beckons to me and brings me a peace
That can never be bartered like some pretty beast.
It brings me your touch and loves sweet release.

In the day, all is open and shining so bright.
The moon, helps to hide the scars with the night.
I long to walk through the mist and gaze high
loftily searching for the soft in the sky.
I long to be comforted
I long not to cry.

I'll echo Diana. I believe the last two lines are the most powerful, from a very powerful poem. Really good poem.
Take care.

I am a moonchild, my source of strength I find in that moon at night.. I recall my day, I pray.. and also, I use my view of the moon for much of my thinking in my writing.. it is powerful..

I loved this write..
