The Inquest

Contributed by remote on Wednesday, 14th September 2005 @ 08:35:34 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Thrusting a dagger
deep into my heart
just to see if I bleed.
Warmth of the scarlet
spreading on my chest
no doubt, tells me,
"Yes indeed, you do bleed".
Pronouncing, no doubt,
success
of this inquest.

Yes, the truth is revealed by the inquest.

This was a satire indicating the stupid length humanity goes to find simple(or obvious) answers, in the process they destroy what is precious. May it be relation, or a scientific persuit, story is always the same.

Hmm, good satire! I like it, and it's so very often proved true... it's like doing a test to see if water makes us pee... hang on, hasn't someone done that? haha,
