[bodytext] => It was a bright and cheery morning, the birds were chirping in the warm sunlight. All of God's creatures were filled with joy on this beautiful day...all, but a few.
.................................................................................................
He sat there alone.

With his head resting on the toilet seat.

He raised the lid to vomit once more.

The blue tiled floor was covered with blood.

But not his blood.

It was that of another.

Only a few hours had passed since he had cut her throat and watched her die.

It was the most tenacious death he had ever seen.

She was his Love, for God's sake!

But she wanted to die.

And that's what friends are for, correct?

She lay there in the bathtub, sumbmerssed in the warm water.

He dare not take another look at her.

All he could do was cry.

With a blank stare upon his face.

His body trembling.

In a state of remorse, anger, guilt, and loss.

He stood to his feet, almost collapsing at first.

Then taking the clean-cut blade, he stepped into the mirky water.

And lay down alongside his Love.

He kissed her on the forehead.

A shiver crawled throughout his body.

Anticipation.

Raising the knife up to his neck.

He let it gently slide across his skin a few times.

Just to get a feel of it.

A slight sting accompanied it.

But nothing would stop him now.

Nothing mattered anymore.

She was gone forever.

He decided everything would mean nothing without her.
....................................................................................................

She listened to the silence for a little while longer.

Thinking about what she was going to do.

But would she really do it this time?

She asked herself.

Then the answer came to her.

...Yes.

She had to.

Everything in her life was ***** up.

And there was no reversing the damage.

Oh, how she tried to hold on.

But no one ever saw the good in her.

And she wondered if there really was any at all.

Probably not.

Now that she realized that, it made her decision stablized.

Now was the time to go.

Possibly the last good chance she would get.

The sun was creaping in through the thin shield of the curtains.

Casting light unto the revolver resting next to her on the bed.

She stared at it for a few minutes.

Never moving, or shifting her train of thought.

With a deep breath, she lifted the weapon.

Her hands were shaking tremendously.

And thats when the tears came.

Her vision was almost completely impared now, blurred.

But her intensions were still intact.

She finally summoned the strength to lift the gun to her head.
.......................................................................................................

He was the type of person who had everything and nothing.

To an outside perspective, he should of been happy.

But there was always something wrong.

Something just didnt feel right.

Though he could never put a finger on it.

There was just that feeling of emptiness.

He had never been loved.

And it hurt.

Life is nothing without the love of another.

He always thought to himself.

And that was his only reason for feeling so depressed.

He came to the conclusion just that day.

And without too much thought, he made up his mind.

He would end it all today.

Not tomorrow.

What's the use of another day's agony?

He wondered to himself.

And there really was no reason to stay longer.

There was no one he should give his farewells to.

No one.

Thats the thing.

There was never anyone.

So, he took the stairs up to the fourth floor of his home.

And walked onto the balcony.

Taking his last few steps.

The warm light made him feel relaxed.

The neighborhood children were playing only a few yards from his driveway.

Which would be the destination of his landing.

But he didnt care anymore.

He would be dead.

And they would be scarred for life.

But it didnt really matter, now did it?
..................................................................................................

Up above all of this doing, God watched.

Snickering.

Smirking.

As he downed another bottle of liquor.

And he summoned the angels that were watching over these three suicidal humans.

They no longer had their protection or hope with them.

Now this is where the real fun begins.

He thought to himself, with anticipation.

Then he sat there and patiently watched.

As he knew what was about to happen next.
......................................................................................................

And within that instant...

The blade made its way into the man's throat.

The bullet fiercy punctured through the girl's skull.

And with a fall, the lonely guy hit the ground.

But to God's ears, they all died without a sound.

As I adored the other poem, I adore this one just as much. It really gets you thinking, If god is really there why does he not do anything when people want to die? And making god be like a man who is just watching people die and finding it amuseing like a T.V. show is intrigueing. I hope to read all your poems and such and be just as amzed. Great Job writing!
