it tasted like bittersweet rose

suddenly i was ashamed of myself
she could see right thru my eyes
she could smell the secret beneath
and spell my vouched safe soul

with her, I'm naked as a careless fish
shimming in an unending sea of gladness
and uncertainty, it seems
like it's a dream.. it has always been

it has always been...
for this girl is living in sheets
klaxon-ed in blue and red
posted at the side of my bed

She was clad in the simplest earthliness

What a lovely write...

"with her, I'm naked as a careless fish
shimming in an unending sea of gladness"
....captivating line, ya gotta love it.

The expression was simple and yet....bold.
