The moon defines all she’s felt

A blood red burn
From the lick of a lighters flame
He told her to learn
The moon knows she’s not to blame

A throbbing broken leg
Caused by a tumble down the stairs
He wanted to crack her like an egg
The moon sees the last of it as it stares

Deathly gunpowder on her hands
She ended him
Free from his restricting bands
Thus the moon has told

An illuminating moon shines down
Tears travel down her cheek
The moon reveals her frown
She has been beaten down so weak

Magnificent write on a topic generally not spoken about, but needs big time coverage. Abuse in any form or fashion is wrong. Abusers are cowards that take out their anger and lack of self esteem on those weaker. I have no tolerance for these creatures and they should die. Not at the hands of the abused but in the hands of justice, but it just doesn't work that way. Domestic abuse is not something the cops want to tackle or the judiciary system sadly.

That is incredible! It reminds me of my friend whose dad used to beat her alot. Wow. Painful memories. But keep up your good work.
