The evil within us

Contributed by BEBE on Saturday, 10th September 2005 @ 05:04:23 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

When the day becomes night, everything begins to fade,
Into evin and into pain
'They like to scare me, knowing that if they wanted to, they could kill me. (maybe not literally)
but to the point where these self- mutilating and non-negotiable thoughts seem
to not let go, to the sweet and innocent girl that used to inhabit my body.

They like to play games; I'm crap and they are my ruler; Forcing my eyelids
to open. Why? i ask my self. So that I can glare into the darkness - not knowing
but guessing what lies within. To focus in on not a human but demons who make
scary noises and like to stare at me. It is like they can smell my fear. But that is what
makes them stronger, knowing that they can taunt me and hurt me. But yet I can do nothing
Not scream, nor cry. Just lie there and take their abuse.

There's nothing that any human can do, They know who I am, They know my strength's, and
my weaknesses. But most of all, they know my fears. They know who you are as well.

They sneak into your soul, through your pains and at your lowest tymes.

No one can do anything, you just become immuned to their abuse. Your life becomes their's.
Through the darkness you live and from there, you can never return

Hmm, an interesting yet confusing way to put it. All of us deal with sporadic outburst of dark thoughts so I can empathyze... Sorry, I can't comment the technical side of your writing.
