Through this tainted glass
Searching for your face
In all the cars that pass

Wishing with each and every breath
Hoping with every sigh
Tell myself that you'll be back
Yet I know it's all a lie

Rest my head against the window
Bite my lip so I won't cry
I'll be fine when my friends see me
But right now I want to die

Feel the tears swell up inside my eyes
It hurts to even breathe
Never thought that you would hurt me
Never stopped to think you'd leave

You took all of my happiness
All I have left is the pain
Guess I'll have to deal with it
Your never coming home again

Stare out across the road
Through this tainted glass
Searching for your face
In all the cars that pass

And I begin to realize
That I truely am alone
And I gues that deep inside my soul

Stareout across the road
Through this tainted glass
Searching for your face
In all the cars that pass

Wishing with each and every breath
