it's just a matter of time.

Until those words thats are spoken,
so gentle and sweet.

Are turned into such evilness,
and oh so fake.

The funny part is,
I will just sit there and smile,

little do they know,
what my future shall bring.

the best part is,
they know nothing of what they'so I just sit here,ve done wrong,

so I just sit here,
I'm my dark little corner

knowing there is nothing anyone can say or do,
to stop the inevitible,

my own, my precious

Great job for a first write, and dont forget-- we all had to start somewhere, in terms of writing poetry that is, so no one is in a position to poke fun. You have a great talent to build upon, so dont stop writing.. check out other members poetry, see how they connect their sentences and see how the many varied rhyming schemes work (check mine out if you like, being similar subject matter and all) Best of luck, and I hope to read more from you..

Dan
