Woken by the storm
Street lights below are shadowed by the rain
Liquid vengeance on the people below
Rushing through the gutters to escape

A windowpane orchestra
Bathe in the sounds of the night
Drums of the clouds
Violins of the earth

Watch the sun streak the roads
Painting a red-orange lavish
A sight to replenish the soul
A new day has awakened.

Very lovely write. I love the phrase "A window pane orchestra" that is very creative. I love all nature poems and this has been one of my favorites so far. Great job! Keep up the good work.

I like this, you used really great images to help create the scene. Very nice write.
