Anything can happen
Loose thoughts strung up tight

Seems quite, to the untrained ear
It would appear, all is normal
To the novice spectator
Who possess no insight
No right
To judge
The words that come out on a lonely night

Who among us
Have no concerns
No worries to dwell upon
No hurricanes busting down your doors
No worries
If it can all go back to before
Bones ache
Your body sore

Where there is peace
There waits with it love
Bonds with it the oceans
The sky, moon and sun
Where there is silence
Their waits a bell to be rung
And where I sit
I wait for the night to become

Memories of angels
Dreams of ghosts
It’s the loneliest of nights
That I fear the worst
They have been rehearsed
Ridden of their curse
And written
Forever in the murky dirt

Very true, that anything can and will happen. A slightly darker piece, and it evokes a clear picture. I liked it very much.

It's the loneliest of nights
that I fear the worst.

Those lines gave me goosebumps....

Well done, indeed.

Loende

Your poem brought alot of thoughts to my mind. I believe to be a great artist, poet, songwriter, composer etc...you have to know how lonely really feels. I believe that you do.

It is hard to adequately & effectively share how lonliness really feels but you did. I tend to think of it as being a child---surrounded by a huge throng of adults and feeling very small. No one hears the child's voice and although surrounded on every side---lonely prevails in the eyes of a child. I don't know if that makes sense, just rambling.

The last stanza was my favorite. I commend you on your poem and i'm glad I got the chance to read it.

Kie :)

Hmmm is this about your ex?

I'm sorry to hear you feel lonely. So do I, but I suspect it's for different reasons...Nice write, very sad...Hope things get better for ya soon.

Scorp.
