Dressed in unique attire
Some pass by and smile
The others cause your heart to set ablaze with fire

Sitting on wooden benches
On a Friday afternoon
Conversing with their mates
Opening their self-help books to the appropriate page

If one sits, how long will she stay?
Stay and talk
About the birds on such a perfect Friday

The feeble looks
Usually in distaste of one of their own
Strutting the catwalk
Practically Nude
Highlighting that paragraph in their textbook
Teaches them how to reverse the food

One beauty rests comfortably
Her back logged against the trunk of the old oak tree
White dress breathing the summer breeze so freely
Engrossed in a hard cover
No doubt a novel based on love and misery

Skinny legs folded, shoes opened,
Toes pointed,
Shiny earrings reflect
Skin so soft starting at the neck
Chills the summer
Cold sweat beats and pants a breathe

If one sits, how long will she stay?
Stay and talk
About such a perfect Friday,

Nice job mangos...I hope you get your girl, and find someone you're comfortable opening up to. You deserve some happiness. Good write.

Scorp.

The title made me think of a stalker or some such! Reading this, I get the impression you are hurting right now from love. I wouldn't be surprised if I was completely off (as I commonly am) but I couldn't help but think that. Perhaps unexpected? I hope she knows you care, if that is the case.
Blessings to you and good luck!
