i'm dry inside like drought
chains of rusted staining
will never free my doubt

that she loves another man!
he doesn't deserve her smile
what am I? but what i am!
the heart that feeds denial...

of all the words that calm
i scream till i tear my throat
i'm alone when you are gone
or so i think inside my boat

where's the cursed shore?
my eyes are dry from crying
i want these waves no more
i think i'm finally dying...

cause...

i'm a lamb being led... to what hasn't yet fed

*****i'm dry inside like drought
****my eyes are dry from crying

No wonder there is a drought, you have been drained from tears.

****chains of rusted staining

Not once, not twice.. several times lied too...I would have rusty chains too.

*****what am I? but what i am!
the heart that feeds denial...

Yes, lamb being led on..
Hard to let go, denial sets, we keep from wanting to believe in the truth.

*****i think i'm finally dying...

cause...

i'm a lamb being led... to what hasn't yet fed

Tomorrow

You won't die.. so don't think that way... you may be a lamb being led.. not yet fed, but there is always tomorrow. Go eat with the other Lamb, He won't drain you.

Brilliant write.. have faith little lamb, and go eat with Father Lamb, He won't drain you.

Dwayne! Good to see you back : ) How was your trip?

As for your poem, it's full of imagery as I've come to expect from your writes...The emotions are strong, as is your expression of them...and the ending is...hmmm...ambiguous: )

Welcome back.
