the things I'd like to show ya
its better off this way
but I want to know
are you hungry for another taste
did the words mean really something
or did they just drift away

you know that ive had some trouble since a while ago
but I never asked for help
never asked for anyone to show
me the way to keep my head above the water
guide me along the path
I did it by myself

Try to find a reason
shut me down and threw me out again
have I but one way to go
melt me down and mold me to a new
my thin life is just a reflection of you

have we been so blind we cannot see
wondering in the dark
nothing really gets by me
not together only apart
I feel pin pushed in my heart

how about you open your box thats full of doubt
light escapes as it cracks open
and leaves with out a scream or shout
make it go away
made it go away
it just went away

Try to find a reason
shut me down and threw me out again
have I but one way to go
melt me down and mold me to a new
my thin life is just a reflection of you

oh you know
things that are too fast have got to slow
things that are stopped they have to go
used to be weak and now im strong
didnt think it would take so long

Try to find a reason
shut me down and threw me out again
have I but one way to go
melt me down and mold me to a new
my thin life is just a reflection of you

This is one of the most inspirational pieces I have ever read, you should be congratulated on such a poem.
