I try to take a few minutes of everyday
To write the things I’d wish to say
Although the topics can vary much
I write about experiences, life and such

The art of rhyming is something I’ve learned
From picking up bits and pieces at every turn
While many have help me along the way
It’s my inner most thoughts at the end of the day

The writer in me tries to be
True to the vision that he sees
Though I’m no writer of any grand scale
To write amongst friends suits me well

Great job putting writer's sentiments in words. Very well said indeed.
