It is so unfair, and so very hard to believe
I can't think of a few lines to save my skin
When am I going to be able to write again

Where does it come from we do not know
When you overcome it, where does it go
Does it just move on to the next helpless poet
Is it possible to have it and just not show it

I wish it would leave me alone forever and all time
I have beautiful ideas that are locked inside my mind
One about a dragon and knights I wish I could tell you
Another of a painting that makes a fantasy come true

My fantasy seems to be lost in my mind for good
And maybe in this case it is best that it should
Because if I told you now of all my great manifestations
They would turn into ink tragedies and be a great devastation [comments] => 5 [counter] => 214 [topic] => 69 [informant] => Kano [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => poets )

The way I deal with writer's block is to eat cookies and milk....or cake. Anyways, a very enjoyable poem!

I think we all suffer from this at times.like you I've sometimes thought I will never write again.so I leave it alone for a few days and then suddenly Hey Presto! the words appear in my head again.Usually when there isn't a pen or paper in sight.A great poem with sympathy from all , I'm sure, Ros

I feel ya man, I always have hundreds of ideas run across my mind, but only a few find it to pen & paper, or a computer in this instance.

Good poem, I think everyone on this site can relate to it.
