I'll leave you cold and bare
I'll put you out in the pouring rain,
and leave you without a care.

I'll mutilate your body
I'll manipulate your head
I'll suffocate you with my lies,
and laugh when you are dead.

I'll twist your words around
to make me the "good guy"
I'll trap you in a corner,
and spit on you when you cry.

I'm here to make you feel worthless
I'm here to make you mad
I'm NOT here to love you
I'm here because I'm your DAD!!! nice write. you captured most dads in action. i wouldn't know considering my dad left me when i was little. best not to dwell. if you cant stand him, go visit a friend for a while...get away. im not saying run away im saying get away, find your peace and return. keep up the good work
