Array ( [sid] => 104796 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Drift Away [time] => 2005-08-31 19:35:21 [hometext] => Something that happened during the summer...it went by so fast....how I wish I could go back in time and be happy once again... [bodytext] => I miss him…
Every time I close my eyes.
Every night that I lay in bed and cry.
When I go to the house we shared.
Every time I look at the teddy bear from last year.
When I glance and notice the bracelet on my wrist.
I miss him…
When I curl up with the blankets we used.
When I see a couple walking together.
When I look up at the stars in the sky.
When I see a tree carved with love.
When I hear a sad song.
I miss him…
When I see the pictures from the happy days.
When I think all I have is his voice.
As his face haunts my dreams.
When I think about the movies we shared.
--------------------------------------------------------
I miss you every time I turn to say something to you….and your not there…

I miss you…
When I know your so far away.
When I look at our pictures together.
And I realize how happy I could be.
Every time I cut, every time I bleed.
(Maybe one day I’ll succeed.)
I miss you, but then I see your face as I slowly drift away…drift away with me…
I love you…

oooooooo......I can very much relate to your despaired thoughts.......having been through a similiar experience myself....so I feel for you.

This poem contained such a raw sense of loss and sadness.....your emotions flowed off the screen as it were.

Great write dear poet, I hope your grief does subside and have hope that maybe one day you may meet the one you love again!
