should i wait for a hand
an offer
a deliverer?

or will i accept
your meager tolerance
all the dreaded things
and i have become them

a wakened body
still just a corpse
a talking voice
still silent in questions

and we are the few
the immortal
for what holds us here?
what keeps the blade steady
and the noose pleasant
but you to me
and me to you

forever is eternal
and that is this dance
some call life
and some expect

but i accept
that i have become
the dreaded things
and i am waiting
for a hand to deliver
an offering

you are what keeps the blade steady
you keep the noose pleasant
and all the beauty we have endured
reflects in your eyes
like solace
simple, and silent
we are questioning
what holds us here

Though i appreciate your comment i do not appreciate your ignorance. Why is it that a reader avidly believes that he or she knows what the write is about? This happens to be about inner struggle and two sides of one person, but to you, the one with the answers. You read that this was about two people, and made an equally ignorant comment about how it takes two for almost everything, which is an incoherent babble, and only too far from the truth. Reliance is suicide. People are the bait in the trap of self-destruction.

I do appreciate comments and thoughts, such as what you ended with but i do not appreciate the dissrespect of people claiming to have the unsurpassed knowledge of MY mind. I write for far greater reasons than to apease the ears and surface isn't even the begining depth of what we say. We all speak without looking at the potential of our words. There is much more to read beyond what is written.
