Well I read a poem in the suicide poetry section on accident and I had to write something about it. [bodytext] => Dedicated to all those who are still moarning the loss of a loved one

I was listening to a man read his poem the other day
And through the tears I heard him say
Why did you leave me, you were my only one
I don't know what I could have done

I remembered that long ago I too once felt that way
But the scars have healed through all the mournful days
And just then I thought what if some way, some how
He did not know how to cope with these new torments now

What would he do if his feelings got too tough
What if poetry was just not enough
Would he actually consider ending it all
Over something that seems so very small

To him his world has just been ripped away
But he will find love again some how, some way
The only thing that could heal his heart is just some time
I know because that is what it took to heal mine

Time and distance is the only thing you can get
To keep that wound from again getting wet
And after it is done you will look back and say
You were never worth me feeling that way [comments] => 11 [counter] => 275 [topic] => 55 [informant] => Kano [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 25 [ratings] => 5 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )

Extremely well written, heartfelt, but not nessecarily true, time doesn't heal all wounds, some wounds, some scars, will forever live, forever remind you of your past, some things, are just meant not to be forgotten.

Excellent write, personally I do believe that time can heal wounds if you know how to cope allowing yourself to move on instead of re-living the past.

You speak with experience and wisdom. I admire the style, as well, for this message is complete, without using too many words. Well said!

*Applauds*

This was just overwhelmingly good. Loosing someone special leaves an hollow space in your heart.

Good writing as always.

great poem, but actually time does not heal all wounds. I'm speaking form experience.

"Time Heals All Wounds" is a joke.

Great poem though. I liked it.
