When you would leave me and be on your way
You've been my all my entire life
Who would of thought it would cause so much strife
I won't say I'm sorry for loving my dad
And I know they can never take what we had
My heart is so torn as which way to turn
Another of lifes lessons that I need to learn
I know life goes on but right now it's stopped
I can't seem to sit and gather my thoughts
I'm doing my best to grant your last wish
But Dad they've put Satan right on my dish
I'm trying so hard to gather your strength
To do what you asked and go the whole length
I know in my heart the way that you felt
and remembering your smile makes my heart melt
I miss you so much you crazy old man
But I will go on and will see you again!

I think I know how you feel about your dad, my friend.
I love my dad too. I would be devastated if anything happened to him.
Or if he stopped loving me which I doubt that would happen.
Fear not, my friend Shannan. Others share your pain. Others share your loss.
About what he said, it doesn't matter if you don't do exactly what he told you. If you do what makes you happy, he'll still love you.
Not all is lost.
And you WILL see him again.
Just don't hurt yourself over it, 'kay.

Love,
A Friend You Never Knew You Had,
Cupid

My father is one of the most important people in my life, if anything should happen it would destroy me.
the line that touched me was when you refered to your father as a crazy old man- thats how i refer to my own dad.

thankyou for this heartfelt piece

KarlaMarie
ps- I love you daddy
