Array ( [sid] => 104695 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => WAITING [time] => 2005-08-30 15:29:39 [hometext] => i love this poem cause it has a really cool ending much like most of my work [bodytext] => WAITING
The clock ticks and the morning goes
Impatient and my frustration grows
Every minute seems to past like a day
But ever second I seem to lose my way

Tick tock and time goes on
Each tick slowly comes along
Each second seems further apart
Like those who suffer from a broken heart

As I wait I see things I’ve never seen before
Like dreary ill fated souls begging for more
And the shackles of life get heavier
And the hollow walls of pain get tighter

But still I wait and wait and wait
Impatient and full of hate
My mind wonders until I’m just an empty shell
Wondering far to find the reason why I fell

Fell into this ticking hell where each tick songs like thunder
But ever more my mind will wonder
I really and truly can’t stand to wait
Waiting seems like an immovable gate

You see all the good things on the other side
They taunt your eyes until your broken and the pain can never subside
But finally the time is up and glory is near
Finally that stupid bus is here

Don't tell me you got on the Stupid Bus?

No wait - don't answer that.

This poem should be at least half the size it is. I was waiting for the end, sooner than you were waiting for your bus, I'm afraid.

Keep writing - more economically.
