They might be shocked by your intelligence if written in script.
And to play the role of theres nothing you dont know
Will get you nowhere in this place.
To listen and to repeat and to act out the actions said
Would get you out easier instead.
Letters from the psyche ward are also short and brief
God forbid you get your feelings out in a way of relief
And if you spent the time to tell than youll be under your emotions spell
So ignore as much as possible and youll feel good and well
Letters from the psyche ward always come with a picture
A way of getting your point across quicker
Just a way to pass the time, because boredom here is a crime
In here your self is hard to find, always a step forward, or to far behind
And if you had a choice some would never leave.
It?s the style they know, the grew accustom to the act
Looking forward to 8:00 o clock meds on the rack
Letters from the psyche ward always are damp
Licking the envelope than putting on the stamp.
Excited that someone will write as well
Receiving this note is something that you dwell
To be thought of all day and night, informing the world that your alright.
Letters from the psyche ward will never be sent
I wonder what happened, were all mine went.

It got a bit tedious in the middle of the poem and was a tad hard to read but the last line of it was brilliant and the first thought in my mind was WOW.

much enjoyed
