Smelling of a flower she has come to devour my soul this night

Is it from heaven or hell, that this angel dwells
Watching, waiting under her spell

Why would a lover’s caress bring such distress
Fore her enchanting call, may force my spirit to confess

With a single touch, a kiss electric, my passion swells
My heart pounds, excitement through every cell

Our bodies entwined in a moment in time
The taste of her flesh oh so sublime

In passionate rhythm we do unite
Her nails upon my flesh tear as if in spite

Now intimate as intimate can be
There is no escape, nowhere to flee

She has me now, I am ensnared
Her beauty, her charm did my judgment impair

She has taken all of me, that is her price
To be her slave, to be her device

There is no escape from her allure
The poison she wields, it has no cure

So the night fades and she is now away
Waiting for darkness to seek new prey

That was painfully sad. I loved it because of it though. And I loved it because it was so very truthful. Nice write.

I've always had a fascination for mythology, Succubus, Incubus, & Cambion. Well to name a few, I guess i'm curious about everything but, thats another matter.

Now back to your poem.

I thought it was good. A succubus had to be alluring, charming, persuasive and irresistable so they could drain a mortal man. I was going to quote excerpts---but have since decided to tell you that the poem is a pleasure to read.

Never stop writing!

Kie :)
