Array ( [sid] => 104515 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Existance v Death [time] => 2005-08-27 22:00:24 [hometext] => A subject always up for debate...but this is my view only....no offence to anyone... [bodytext] => If I were not born the day I DID arrive.
Where would I be now?... I am glad I DID survive.
What if someone pysically aborted me so?
I would not be able to yell STOP and...help me grow!
My fingers and thumb would not be able to scratch,
mummys growing tummy inside or toes I could fetch.
God knew me before I was even conceived!
Wow it's luckily I am here now and never deceived.
Times were tough when my mum had to get married.
But in pain each month with me inside she carried.
Many women abort not knowing the law.
"In God's word," is the truth for happiness to explore.
Women might think at the time it's okay to abort.
But later in life[in some way] they will say "I wish I was taught."
This poem is not meant to bring other people down.
But to encourage ones decision so later won't wear a frown.
"Do not kill !" Is the answer where we should all agree.
Disobey those words and you can't be set free.
Unless repent it all and never do again.
Then life won't leave the void and the pain.
I nearly did abort my darling little son.
Thoughts of not having him now makes me feel "in that battle I won."
I feel for anyone that is put in such a position.
I truely know how hard it is to make that FINAL decision.

Coni, bless you. Every word is so true. So many women feel guilt and remorse from this decision. I have to say in some cases I can see reason for it. But just to rid yourself of a child you don't want to bear or raise is wrong. Bear the child and give it to someone that does want to love and care for it forever.

Blessings,
Rita
