They say nothing ever grows among the dead
The sun will never reach the stars
Broken hearts cant live beneath a river of dreams

Those who reached for words too blunt
Lost and found lay secrets hiding
Close your eyes it may give a hint
To where we belong resting

Still I’m holding on
And reaching further into oblivion
Turn out the light
Fall through stable grounds into fiction
Shy thoughts and concepts hiding in the dark
Sliding between every hollowed eye
A world can shed all lies without the spark
Finding comfort in the truth they defy

Those who reached for words too blunt
Lost and found lay secrets hiding
Close your eyes it may give a hint
To where we belong resting

Phantoms lay perplexed above
We caught ourselves in a web of comatose
Nothing here to look for, nothing else to find
They’ve given in to all our reckless souls

Watch them walk through mirrored passageways
They say nothing ever grows among the dead
Those who reached for words too blunt
Lost and found lay secrets hiding
Close your eyes it may give a hint
To where we belong resting

wow I'm glad I found this one... it was very
deep and I loved the emotions that filled this
tortured write. I loved how it began it really
drew me into the poem. I haven't talked to you
in a while, but I hope you are doing well and
that you will post more poems soon. Once
again an amazing poem.
