[bodytext] => She lays the book down
The pages are turning too fast
She's heading into the future
Without knowing where she's placed her past

She's holding out for the moment of her life
That place in time
When all with the world appears right
She hides her face from the truth
Stuck in the photographs
All hung in her room

A moment with everything
And nothing to lose
Surrounded by love
And the option to choose

high school is certainly a great time. in fact thats where i'm at currently...

but you have to live one day at a time, because there are many more moments to be enjoyed than the last great one you had.

Thats really cool. I just graduated from high school this last June and am
leaving for university in a week and a half. I like the sentiment in this poem
and how you ended it, as she's stuck in her memories kinda thing.
However for me, I'm looking to the future, for a lot of the past is not something
I love to remember.
Nice job on this poem.

A interesting poem, I understand how you feel, sometimes you look back on good times and wonder where they went.SLipSiX.

I KNOW EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL. I am going to be a senior, and all i can do is wonder how the time went so fast. I still remember the first day I walken into my highschool freshman year. Now all I can do is stare at the words my friends wrote in my yearbook. Thank you for sharing this.

bye,
☺Mando☺
