Array ( [sid] => 104326 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Whose Fault Is It? [time] => 2005-08-24 18:12:48 [hometext] => I was sitting at a beautiful state park trying to feel creative and write a poem. I couldn't come up with anything, and got frustrated. So I just started writing...... [bodytext] => Where the heck am I going with this
How should I know, it was your idea
Now I don't remember, what the idea was
Man you got just one oar in the water, or what

Insulting aren't you, course I suppose you're perfect
I wasn't the one who forgot
Why don't you come up with an idea
Oh, I forgot, you don't have any good ideas

Now who is being insulting and nasty
What is the reader going to draw from this

Well I was about to make a point
Which is?
That it takes two intelligent people, not just one
To have a meaningful conversation

Are you saying I am too stupid to have a conversation
Well writing poetry does take some thought and creativity
Oh yeh, well I have read some of your poems
And.....

Well let' just say they are.....
That's far enough, the other poets are my critics

Oh i get like that when i talk to myself to, only i don't listen so good. I think this is cool and the reason why maybe you couldn't write ... cuz the other voice wanted some stage time too.

very cool.

Ha, I know how that goes, beauty all around, and you still have writers block.. all the senses have seemed to shut down.. an awful feeling for a writer to experience..

*****That it takes two intelligent people, not just one
To have a meaningful conversation

lol. oh, is that right..? I talk to to my well trusted friend all the time, my alter ego...and it answers me.. yes, we both have pretty intelligent conversations.. all the time..

Aren't we all sort of crazy nuts out here any way.. we are writers.. poets.. story tellers. we speak to ourselves on paper... our listeners are the readers.. but we are the first to hear..

Good work, writer. I think the poem (story) is complete and has texture and a sense of direction. You do a good job with dialogue. this write is super..
.
Yes, very effective dialogue of conflict, contact with self here..

*****Well let' just say they are.....
That's far enough, the other poets are my critics
Not you!

Smiles, hats off to you.. wonderful execution at the closure..

Thank you for posting this write.. I like the natural you in it.. and thank you also for taking me to that beautiful park where you wrote these lines..

Raquel Leah ; ))

I have no advice except this---
Always write with your heart and not your mind-
Thoughts have a way of getting tangled up -
Truth and fiction become one and travel a parallel path often causing a block within the creative portion of the brain-
The words will come if you feel the emotion....
