Hidden between the shadows that swallow love’s persistence
and dances in the heart of hope.
Masked only by stories whose tales grow long into the depths of our young minds,
never knowing the truth of how everything finishes.
In the sudden wakening,
in the beginning of the end.
Falling away into pieces, broken.
Looking to far off to a site my fingers cannot trace.
Holding onto you as if you might fall away.
And you do.
You left into the place the insist that love last forever,
Whispering lies into your ear until words become numb as they hit against your skin.
Your tears so lucid your flesh glows under them
And leaves a trail of desire
To live in that fairytale
So deceivingly sweet you fall into its every expression,
Every sigh,
Every touch,
Wishing to make your own,
Though broken,
It would be your fairytale.
And me?
Lost between the distance of your eyes and that dream
I’ll stand no longer between you and that absurd wish,
Go on and dream of that moment where you will melt into their kiss.
But lips do scream cold,
As they chap, crack and break.
Remember this as a warning as you wish desperately for that date.

Powerful words on a powerful theme.
Love is a spectacular and wonderful thing,
I'm sure one day it will hit you with all its splendour
