blowing open wide the doors of my life..
which way are we going?

Standing against the lurid sky
on the stark brink of ocean..
arms outstretched,
as if our love and hunger
could embrace the world-
and I, in my inner gloom
playing my poetic dance
only seeing and asking the answerable-

Brave and cunning, I speak to the keyboard,
knowing it would not answer back..
and not to reply-
when I ask, not wanting to hear,
as you, with the vast sunset, merge,
a multitude of dreams away..
uniquely alone and outside of me
in the purity and rarity of these many moments...
immeasurable beyond my love and rage;

..as the dying call of gulls resound:

Girl in the wind
throwing aside the tight shutters
of my life-
which way ae we going?

Had a sweet simple end to a poem that got me into it and feeling the loneliness
and pain of separation - at least to me. I liked the part about speaking to
the keyboard and it not answering back.
Awesome poem once again.

Mysterious, as in not knowing. Raging against the past and fearful of the future. Love as in holding someone tightly to your heart and wanting to share the inner most of yourself with them. Caring enough to open those shutters to again sing the songs of love and life and being willing to dance that dance once again. I hope your wishes come true. We all want that in life, but we have to be open for it. This is so beautifully open and your heart shines. Let's hope it becomes a solid beam of love's light. Rita

Dear, sweet master of words, how you doth moveth hearts.
Billy, this was outstanding! So deeply profound and
beautiful. I love the use of the italics at the end......almost
like a whisper.....

I am awed once more.

yours,
~Breezy
