I adored you from afar.
forever wishing you were mine.
always alert to your presence
Observing and understanding who you were

Your smile captivated me, the smile of lost innocence.
Your eyes shining through me like a beacon of hope.
Your voice resonating through my ears like a rush of water through a mountain stream

I become bewildered in your presence, lost..
Lost in my imagination, to the thought of you.
lost in a enthralling dream, and I never want to wake up.

I don’t know how to explain it
I cant really put it into words
The way you touched my heart
and made me feel like I wasn’t alone

On those night’s when im feeling depressed and alone
I look up to the stars and think about you.
As the moonlight shines into my melancholy eyes,
I remember your face and smile.

Thank you for being what you are to me and
For being who you were.
For adding joy and peace to my life
and changing how I feel.

For sharing with me a portion of yourself; although
I know you will never be mine.
But that part that you have given me
Will never belong to anyone else.

So I’ll try to live my life.
Separated from you.
Living life like im supposed to .
forever loving you.
