I've depended on the tears to feel.
I guess in the back of my head,
I always knew it wasn't real.

The pain overcrowded my heart,
Every minute I spent awake.
I couldn't bear the sufferering,
I couldn't endure that daily ache.

I'd stay up all night,
Praying I could cry myself to sleep.
Always wishing, always hoping,
The pain wouldn't dig so deep.

At secret times I'd pop those pills,
As my happiness lived inside those capsules of pink.
This depending "happiness",
I need to survive is making me sink.

The doctors give me labels,
Saying I'm different than the rest.
I knew it was abnormal,
This burning hole in my chest.

Everyday I waste away,
Drowning awong my tears.
Always living, always hiding,
In the shadows of my fears.

Everymorning I take my prescription,
That provides me with a happiness that's fake.
It's supposed to install a smile on my face,
And make me want to wake.

I depend upon these pills,
So I don't always have to be that sad.
Maybe, could is possibly be,
This medicated happiness isn't so bad?

its not good, that you have to have that to be happy.......But, find the inner to your self....take a walk....look at the world and things differently, maybe that can help as well.! Well penned, yet a tragey, of pain and hurt.! Sorry.

Brew~
