Array ( [sid] => 104081 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => A lazy Sunday Afternoon [time] => 2005-08-21 15:35:51 [hometext] => Sitting, and wondering if the sunday afternoons, that some speak of .......really exsist.! [bodytext] => One morning, on beautiful Sunday ..............The time is 9:00 am, and the sun is just peaking through the drawn blinds. You hear no sounds, except the birds chirping at the window.! Then all of a sudden,..........You hear the stirs, of family rambling in the kitchen. Pots, and pans clanging........smell of breakfast.......the dripping of the coffee maker and the wonderful smell of the first cup of coffee that will be enjoyed on the patio. You raise, to know it is a enjoyable, and lazy family day.! You enter the family room and there is your dad reading the paper, as your mom has all going in the kitchen next door. What aromas that are lingering. You are then called to the breakfast nook, to join in a big family brunch. Many convos being discussed............Many thinking of what the day brings ahead. The talks about football games, sitting on the couch and drinking a few beers, and screaming at the football players. While, all the brothers are wondering which house will have the most playing video games. Now, the time has come, that brunch has ended, and all is stuffed. You could not eat another bite. The clean up is in order, and its time to get the day ready for all adventures.
My day will consist of reading, writing; and later of watching football with me dad.! Usually, he sits over, sees a couple of plays, and then he claims to be resting his eyes.! Its hilarious. We, just sit and say yeah.yeah.......we beleive you.! Well, now the day is coming to end, thats where i get to do the cooking.......and no one is allowed in MY kitchen. I usually, turn music on and create, away. All the family is back, for another delicious meal. Now, its 9 pm....time to sit down and think about how the sunday was used. Another lazy day, spent with family............isn't it great.! This does happen most the time at my dad house....just a wonder how others spend sundays?!
